In Australia the monies from education are gradually being pulled out. In the state of Victoria, Australia the Political Arena has intentions of taking $1.2 BILLION from the TAFE Sector. I think that it is entirely possible that the new mindset towards education is thus - "why educate & train when there are no jobs" "give the monies to the employment agencies, instead of the schools" "if & when a job arises, the employment agency will train up the chosen candidate/ worker & wow have we save some big bucks" They have destroyed the jobs market They are in the process of destroying the education system. We the people can go to the beach & surf & have beach parties, how about that. Via the SMART PHONE they can connect with us instantly 24-7....
Just to add :- Australia brings in skilled foreign workers = 457 VISA'S In Australia we have World Championship Ballroom Dancers from China & the like teaching dancing to beginners & amateurs in our local neighborhood dance studios. Our own skilled dance instructors are unemployed. How about that ! The Foreign Workers are Tax Deductible. I have no idea who is paying the tax for all this extravagance.
although i remember i winced at miscategorized comments, lo, i find myself doing the very same -- -- rather than risking not leaving this note for you, while the thought is still fresh in my mind:
