Media trailblazer Andrew Breitbart, who single-handedly declared war on the establishment left and won numerous political battles, unexpectedly died this early morning in his Los Angeles home aged 43.
Breitbart’s untimely death has shocked the media world and left some to question whether or not damning footage of Obama in his youth, which Breitbart announced he had obtained only last month, will still be released.
According to some observers, the footage threatened to sink Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out,” Breitbart told a crowd during a CPAC speech in February, adding that the video shows Obama meeting “a bunch of silver pony tails” like Bill and Bernardine Dohrn (Weather Underground members), who radicalized him.
Breitbart was probably best known for his role in exposing ACORN, a community-based organization with links to the Democratic Party, with the release of undercover videos showing ACORN workers advising people how to hide evidence of prostitution and commit tax evasion.
In recent years, Breitbart became known as a fearless conservative activist, confronting leftist media elites and publicly taking Obama supporters to task.
When placing Breitbart’s tragic early death in the context of the media landscape, it becomes clear that today’s news, allied with James Murdoch’s exit from the UK in the aftermath of the phone hacking scandal, will leave major gaps in the ongoing media tug of war between Rupert Murdoch and George Soros.
Writing that Breitbart was a “happy warrior” whose fight will live on, Big Hollywood carried text Breitbart recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation.
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

This is the worst article I've read in some time. The sad thing is, if Breitbart's accusations about Obama were true, he'd be the man people thought they were voting for.
ReplyDeleteI used to listen to Jones a bunch, but he's becoming sadder and sadder as the years go on. Does Watson even know who the Weather Underground were? A grassroots group of Americans who stood up to a government that wanted to kidnap them and send them to commit genocide in SouthEast Asia? Maybe he's jealous that they walked the walk that he only blogs about for money.
Yeah, if only Obama were like the Weather Underground and not this Republican hack in drag he turned out to be.
ReplyDeleteWatson seems to be missing a particular screw in his brain necessary for consistent reporting; that is, he has his head on straight on some subjects and makes important contributions; and then goes and splatters a diaper full of ridiculous shit all over the screen.
ReplyDeleteCalling Andrew (not so) Breitbart "a Media trailblazer" is beyond-belief-stupid.
Breitbart was a pathological LIAR. He invented "news." He made shit up, mis-represented and fabricated fraudulent "exposes" in the edit room because he had not ONE SHRED of ethical conscience. He was a complete, no-holds barred sell-out and whore for whoever paid him to sew poison in the (monopolized) marketplace of ideas.
He had NOTHING to offer but hatred and a sinister smirk to offer; and that's probably what killed him; fuckin piece of trash.
Citing the "sting" around ACORN is stupid-on-steroids. That whole thing was proven false, a set-up/entrapment.
DUHHHH!!!!!
This is lazy journalism of the legendary kind. I hope this piece-of-shit-article gets reposted far and wide so Watson gets a tidal wave of flack and enough incentive to wake the fuck up and quit dribbling piss on his otherwise decent work.
I've actually been enjoying Alex Jones of late. He had Cindy Sheehan on the other day.
(What a brave principled woman)
Great interview. He also talked with the makers of the movie "Thrive," (speaking to a "left/liberal audience"); and then Watson has to go and do an epic dump like this.
WTF????
In his last few appearances in public, yelling at "occupiers", taking the Wiener podium, doing Bill Maher's show.. Breitbart certainly appeared to be mentally unstable, perhaps off his meds. If there were Obama tapes of truly regime changing importance there'd have been no point in not releasing them immediatly.
ReplyDeleteIn theory, it would've been better to have Obama and the DNC deep into damage control mode already.
Breitbart was playing "Battleship" and sunk a Weiner with a direct hit. That doesn't make him an ace U-Boat captain.
Might everyone google "KGBGate" "Operation Barack Obama" - Obama's absolute hiding of all his past history together with what is public convinces anyone that Obama is the Manchurian Candidate whose efforts are to destabalize and as much damage to Amercan interests, military, social institutions, financial institutions, educational institutions, as he and his trainers the KGB together with Israel, can do.
ReplyDeleteBreitbart's ass must be very tired indeed from accomodating Pol Pot's joint night after night in Hell. And the InfoWars crowd are insanely paranoid Xian trash. Also, even if Obama were programmed by the KGB to destroy America, Geo. Bush jr. already got the job done. Oh and btw, Obama's mom was CIA as was her mom. Stanley Anne Dunham worked for the CIA front the Ford Foundation in helping overthrow the government of Indonesian in 1965. Sorry Rt Wingers, keep smokin' what yr smokin'.
ReplyDeleteThe only "war" that coward Breitbart was in was the one against his own mind and body, and unlike his provocations against Progressives, he actually won that one. Burn in Hell Breitbart, we only hope Limbaugh, Beck, Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld join in your suffering, very soon.
