Dear Friends of the Russia & America GoodWill Association (RAGA)! The RAGA stays away from politics, except when peace is threatened.
Below is my translation of a report about Russian troops being put on high alert, as it appeared on Russia’s polit.ru site.
The Kremlin is being updated about the upcoming US-backed Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, according to “Nezavisimaya Gazeta”, citing sources in the Defense Ministry. Strike will be sudden and inflicted very soon.Today, Hans Blix, former Head of International Atomic Energy Agency (1981 – 1997), told RT from Stockholm, Sweden, that:
A full-scale war is possible. This issue was discussed at the Russia-EU summit in Brussels with the participation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. Russia’s permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov stated that the Israeli / the U.S attack on Iran. would lead to “catastrophic development of events.”
According to the newspaper, the military preparations of Russia to minimize the loss resulting from such a military action against Tehran were launched a year ago and are now almost complete. According to sources in the Defense Ministry, Russian 102nd military base in Armenia was fully optimized during October-November 2011.
Military families were evacuated to Russia; Russian garrison stationed near Yerevan was reduced in size; military units stationed there were transferred to the district of Gyumri, close to the Turkish border. U.S. strikes on the targets in Iran are expected from Turkey’s territory.. Since December 1, 2011 Russian forces at military bases in South Ossetia and Abkhazia’ have been put on high alert combat readiness; and Black Sea Fleet ships now cruise near the border with Georgia, which in this conflict may take the side of anti-Iranian forces.
“Threats by hawks in Israel and the US will not succeed in scaring the Iranians.”
Former Chief of the UN Inspections Commission on WMD in Iraq (2000 – 2003), Blix sees ominous similarities with the fake search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Yesterday Sergei Ryabov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, warned against US constantly increasing pressure on Iran; Russia favors a diplomatic solution, as we are trying to convince our Israeli friends of the enormous risks Israel would be taking, said Ryabov.
The Israeli public is far from being united behind the Right-Wing’s plans for a “pre-emptive” attack.
In addition to Ephraim Halevy, former Mossad chief, Israeli Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz, Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Interior Minister Eli Yishai, Intelligence and Atomic Energy Minister Dan Meridor and Minister-without-Portfolio Benny Begin remain firmly opposed to any action against Iran. Why don’t we know this from US mass media? Read:
“How Zionism infiltrated the US” with Mark Bruzonsky, a Jewish-American activist who has been a key member behind the Israeli Palestinian peace initiative in the 1980s.
In essence, he confirms the thesis of The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, a 2007 book published by two leading US scholars, Steve Walt and John Mearsheimer.
According to Bruzonsky, The US has prevented a settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict because the Israelis set up such powerful institutions, lobbies, publications, personalities, and their control of political parties and of the media make it impossible for American leaders to do what they knew they should do to solve this cancer.

The questions about ill-informed Americans remain: Why the Arab Spring protesters were hailed as heroes whereas our own OWS activists are condemned as villains?
Am I mistaken that– in order to obtain a better information about the USA- one has to go to foreign sources, BBC, Aljazeera and, yes, RT? Malice Toward None. Good Will to All. Peace to the World. And–Peaceful Christmas!
From RAGA site:
“We are an association of Americans who believe it is in the U.S. national interests to foster friendship with Russia on the basis of mutual Good Will and non-interference in each other’s affairs. RAGA is a gathering of people who share common interests in Russia’s history, culture, religion, economy, politics and the way of life.Feedback is always welcome. Please share with us your ideas on peace.
We feel that Russian people have made outstanding contributions to humankind and are capable of greater achievements. We envision Russia as a strong, independent, proud and free nation and as a partner in achieving peace in the world.”

Please get the facts! Why would Russia do that? Russia would benefit from higher oil prices immediately.
ReplyDeleteRussia just joined the crooks club the WTO. Russia will do nothing and watching America getting weaker.
stupid comment Holualoa -we don't get weaker if we occupy and control every country on Russia's Border, every country in Africa -and all the oil wealth of the Gulf states -don't think Russia and China will sit on their asses forever, loaning us trillions, waiting for for us to implode economically. They have now started to realize that their strategy has not worked -these Neocon zionist crazies in the US and NATO are ready to go for it all -to hell if WW3 results -use the military advantage while you have it -the window of opportunity is about to close forever

ReplyDeleteHas Russia vetoed sanctions against Iran? No it ultimately it has not. Has Russia given Iran the S300? No. How about China did they veto sanctions against Iran? NO. Did they admit Iran as a full member in the SCO? No. . Now if they wont make these token gestures it means they sure as shit wont go bat for Iran.
ReplyDeleteI would say Russia wants the US to attack to Iran, it solves its problems does it really want a nuclear Iran with fucking Chechnya next door. At the same time weakening the US.
it's about energy an geopolitics - "nuke" are just the smokescreen. "borders" is just a smokescreen. money and a world government activities has no borders.
ReplyDelete@Auirsrage2k: You are a fool. Russia and China BOTH have military alliances with Iran and are bound by those treaties to aid Iran in the event they are attacked.
ReplyDeleteIf USrael hits Iran, Russia will hit NATO in Europe. China will invade Taiwan. The gloves will be off and the nuclear genie will be unleashed.
The only 'threat' Iran poses is the fact that attacking that country will engulf the entire planet in a nuclear war as a result. Maybe that is why the US & Europe keep proclaiming that 'Iran is a threat to the world'. THINK ABOUT IT!
@Aiursrage2k - Agreeing to sanctions is one thing - allowing the US to replace another ally-neighbor with a hostile neighbor is quite another.
ReplyDeleteThe US had a number of powerful bargaining chips it played to get Russia to play ball - most potently, WTO membership and the missile defense shield. But now Russia has gained WTO membership and has learned that the "reset" was a joke - the US (and the NWO which it represents) is building an even more powerful missile shield, is still meddling in domestic Russian politics (recent election), and is continuing to attack Russian strategic interests (Syria most recently). Recent experience in Libya has also shown Russia that the West remains a colonial power.
I have no doubt the S-300 sale to Iran was cancelled because the US threatened to take retaliatory measures, such as arming Georgia or perhaps even Chechyan rebels with more powerful missiles or other weaponry.
But contrary to @truthseeker4humankind, I do not think Russia is foolish enough to strike Europe. That is, after all, it's largest trading partner, and sure to ignite a devastating war. Moreover, Russia has no reason to strike Europe, which is also being pulled by the hair into the conflict by Israel and its giant servant, the US.
No, what I think Russia would do (together with China) is possibly provide support for keeping Western and Israeli air superiority in check (see e.g. http://noliesradio.org/archives/20727 and http://www.worldnewstribune.com/2011/11/27/russian-navy-backs-syria-delivers-weapons-and-s-300-air-defense-system/).
But more importantly, by providing surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles to Iranian military and irregular forces to sustain both organized resistance and, in the event of the use of land forces, guerrilla war against Western forces attempting to subdue Iran - much like the US supplied the mujahadeen / al Qaeda during Russia's Aghani misadventure. In fact, Russia could expand its assistance by not only cutting off US supply routes to Afghanistan - which, without the Pakistani supply routes, would require hugely expensive air delivery of all supplies, air delivery which would be vulnerable to said surface-to-air missiles - but also supplying the Taliban with weaponry, directly or indirectly (through Iran).
Iran undoubtedly has already obtained much Russian technology, directly or indirectly (through N. Korea or China), which it has used to construct ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and other advanced weaponry.
The one thing that i remember the most clearly over the past 39-40 years of my school days at Brandeis University in1970's are my student adviser's words that when he was growing up that his grand parents and parents used the term "‘goyishe kup,’" meaning that the "Non-Jews are Stupid"
ReplyDeleteLater in life I learned that the exact translation of "GOYISHE KUP" means that the "Cattle are STUPID"..
I remember him recalling whatt his father told him when he was growing up in Eastern Europe. One of them being that when his father was in high school he and a group of friends would skip school early on Fridays and go over to his friend's father's butcher shop. That they would buy at cost any cows , that had not been butchered by the end of the day on Friday before the begining of shabat . They would take the cow home and wash it and then the boys would procede to "beat the udders of the cows so that they would swell up and turn pink" so as to sell them to the "GOYISHE KUP" as milk producing cows.
The part that I remember him asking me if the East Europeans are so naive, so gullible and so stupid to buy old "non milk producing cows" from a bunch of young Jewish Boys.
So thinking of it now I agree with the Jewish saying that the "GOYISHE KUP" are indeed" Stupid" as they believe that a Bunch of Arab Muslim Kids who were not able to Fly a Cessna Airplane took it upon themselves to FLY a Boing Jumbo Jet outwitting the US Military and Civilian authorities. The "Jewish Lightning Insurance Scam" of the 1960's is still alive and well has been put to good use by Larry Silverstein and his SAINIM Jews in putting 15 million down and comming out with 7 billion dollars for buidings that no one wanted to buy because it would have cost a billion dollars to remove the asbestos from. Then on top of that the people in America actually believe that they actually decide who is elected President or for that that actual VOTE is really counted and makes a difference in deciding who represents them in the White House and congress. http://www.bollyn.com/index.php

Yeh I agree that the AmericanNon-Jews are indeed American "GOYISHE KUP" or "STUPID CATTLE"!
The Israeli Defense Firm That Tallies The Iowa Caucus
By Christopher Bollyn
1-1-8
The Iowa caucus is only a few days away and the nation's attention will be directed to the results, which signify the beginning of the U.S. presidential race. But does anyone watch who tallies the results of the Iowa caucus?
The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the same this year. Don't expect to see any grassroots political activists doing the tally in Iowa. The Israeli defense establishment takes care of that part of the American "democratic" election process.
VOXEO
In the summer of 2004, I first learned that a foreign and out-of-state company using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology tallied the Iowa caucus results.
The system used to tally the 2004 Iowa caucus results was provided by a company called Voxeo, which was apparently based in Orlando, Florida. (Yellow flag goes up in the mind of those familiar with Orlando and electronic vote fraud history
I wish you, guys, to be well armed and couraged in front of the Western pressure. And I also think that Iran not only has right but MUST have nuclear weapons to prevent American strange looking for their kind of "democracy".
