ReplyDeleteWhatever happens (I agree it seems like a dark future) the fact of the matter is that the threshold for global suicide is something like 150 "gadgets" on so many cities (of course there are no cities, only "co-lateral damage"). With this in mind, and granting that suicide does happen, the prevailing power (PP) in the conflict will probably be the power that applies indirect force in the most expert manner. The Russians excel at chess and mathematics, while the Chinese are the discoverers of the philosophy of war as well as the inventors of war. Both States represent the product of thousands of years of national existence. I'll leave the (probable) outcome to the reader...
ReplyDeleteThe Chinese and Russians have made military commitments to Iran. The USA does not attack countries that have the slightest ability to defend itself or have a functioning military.
